Direct training for families
Safety-Care training, in person or online
The Trigger Map and the 5-Week Program are self-guided. Some families want live training too, and we are building two ways to offer it: in-person training through a Safety-Care authorized organization near you, and a live online seminar with other caregivers.
Join the interest list and you hear from us first when an option is available in your area.

The two ways this works
In person
Hands-on training near you
Some Safety-Care authorized organizations, agencies and providers whose trainers are certified by QBS, have chosen to offer training to families in their area, including the physical safety procedures that can only be taught in person.
We connect you with the organization. The organization is the provider of any training it delivers; QBS certifies trainers and does not deliver or supervise services provided by other organizations.
Online
Live online seminar
A live session online with other caregivers, not one-to-one. It covers prevention, de-escalation, and your family plan, with time for questions.
The seminar does not teach hands-on physical procedures. Safety-Care teaches those only in person.
What happens next
You join the list for your area. We do the rest.
When a local authorized organization or an online seminar date opens for your area, we email you with the details and the cost, and you decide then. One caveat: we cannot promise a timeline, and some areas will take longer than others.
Until then, the self-guided tools are here: the Behavior Trigger Map for spotting the pattern, and the 5-Week Program for the plan.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
What does it cost?
Pricing is not set yet. Whatever the option, you see the cost before anything is scheduled, and joining the list commits you to nothing.
Can I learn the physical procedures online?
No. Safety-Care teaches hands-on physical safety procedures only in person, through certified trainers working for an authorized organization. The online seminar covers prevention, de-escalation, and your family plan. It does not teach physical procedures, and nothing you find online should claim to.
Is this part of the 5-Week Program?
No. The program and the Trigger Map are self-guided, one-time purchases. Direct training is a separate option for families who want live training beyond the self-guided tools. You do not need to have bought either product to join the list.
Who provides the in-person training?
A Safety-Care authorized organization near you, such as an agency or provider whose trainers are certified by QBS and which has chosen to offer training to families. That organization is the provider of any training it delivers. QBS certifies trainers; it does not deliver or supervise services provided by other organizations.
Is the online seminar one-to-one?
No. It is a live session with other caregivers, which keeps the cost down and lets you hear how other families handle the same moments. You can ask questions; you are never asked to share details about your family.
We already work with a provider. Should we still join?
First, ask whether your provider is a Safety-Care authorized organization. If they are, they may be able to work with you directly, and you do not need to wait for us. Join the list anyway if you want to hear about the online seminar.
What do you do with my information?
We use it only to contact you about direct training options in your area. Joining the list does not subscribe you to marketing email. Write to help@safetycarefamilies.com to be removed at any time.
I work for a school, hospital, or agency.
Staff training is a different program. Safety-Care by QBS trains and certifies staff at organizations; see qbs.com. You are welcome on this list too if you care for someone at home.
