Safety-Care for Families — Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: October 09, 2025

Welcome to Safety-Care for Families (“SCF”), a program of QBS, Inc. (“QBS”). These Terms &

Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in our programs and services. By

registering for or attending an SCF training, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Services and Enrollment

Safety-Care for Families is a one-day, in-person educational training focused on prevention

and de-escalation strategies for families supporting individuals with behavioral or

developmental challenges. Classes are led by certified Master Trainers.

Registration is confirmed only once full payment is received and accepted. Seats are limited

and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participants receive both digital and printed handbooks for personal use. Reproduction or

distribution beyond personal use is prohibited.

2. Payment and Refund Policy

Payment in full is required at the time of registration. Partial or delayed payments are not

accepted.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [insert SCF contact email]. If received more

than 72 hours before the scheduled class, a full refund will be issued. If received within 72

hours, a partial refund or credit may be offered at our discretion. No-shows (failure to

attend without notice) are not eligible for a refund. If SCF cancels or reschedules a class, you

may choose a full refund or transfer to a future session.

3. Satisfaction Guarantee

We want every family to leave the Safety-Care for Families class feeling it was worth their

time, energy, and investment. If you complete the program and feel it did not meet your

expectations, you may request a full refund under our Satisfaction Guarantee.

To qualify for a refund:

1. Submit a request within 5 days of your class date by emailing

[email protected] or calling 440-465-4497.

2. Complete a brief Post-Class Satisfaction Survey (link provided after your

request). This helps us understand what didn’t meet your expectations.

3. Participate in a short conversation (phone or virtual) with the Program Leader of

Safety-Care for Families (and potentially your Master Trainer) to review your

feedback and explore solutions.

4. If, after that discussion, we mutually agree the experience did not meet expectations,

a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Requests made after 5 days or without completing both the survey and discussion are not

eligible.

Refund requests made in bad faith or repeated attempts may result in ineligibility for future

enrollment.

4. Participant Responsibilities

Participants must maintain a safe and respectful environment. Disruptive conduct may

result in removal without refund. Full attendance is required for certification. Accessibility

requests should be submitted at least 7 days before the class.

5. Liability and Disclaimer

No Guaranteed Outcomes: Individual results vary, and specific behavioral or safety

outcomes are not guaranteed.

Limitation of Liability: Our total liability for any claim is limited to the total amount paid.

We are not responsible for indirect or incidental losses.

Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our

control.

6. Confidentiality and Privacy

Registration data is used only for communication and program delivery, in accordance with

our Privacy Policy. All discussions and examples shared during training are confidential.

the rest remains enforceable.
